Brilliant Tone is GlyMed’s strongest tyrosinase inhibitor, formulated to target the most stubborn hyperpigmentation, such as melasma, photodamage, dark spots, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It utilizes a blend of potent tyrosinase inhibitors, including kojic acid, arbutin, and bearberry to inhibit melanin production along with niacinamide and licorice root to lend anti-inflammatory benefits. Vitamin C and lactic acid further boost brightening benefits for an overall even skin tone and gorgeous glow.

We recommend this for those looking for a powerful brightening treatment serum and is best for those that are already acclimated to corrective products.

This is GlyMed’s strongest brightening serum and is meant to be used in the pm only.  It is recommended to begin use every other night and increase use as tolerated. To treat moderate to advanced melasma or hyperpigmentation, use this serum in conjunction with GlyMed Plus Diamond Bright Skin Illuminator. Can also add in Daily Skin Clarifier in the am for boosted antioxidant protection.

Kojic Acid: A by-product of fungi, acts as a tyrosine inhibitor and is a great exfoliator, leading to an overall more even complexion. Also has antimicrobial properties to reduce breakouts and promote clearer skin.
Arbutin: Tyrosinase inhibitor that aids in brightening dark spots, preventing hyperpigmentation, and reducing scarring.
Niacinamide: A multitasking form of vitamin B3 that helps balance oil, strengthen the skin barrier, and improve uneven tone and texture while calming redness for healthier looking skin.
Lactic Acid: An alpha-hydroxy acid that improves skin tone, smooths texture, and reduces the appearance of dark spots.
Vitamin C (MAP): One of the most gentle, stable, water-soluble forms of vitamin C, safe for dry and sensitive skin types. Has a slower release into the body, providing more sustained brightening and antioxidant benefits.
Licorice Root Extract: Brightening and anti-inflammatory agent that balances skin tone and helps inhibit hyperpigmentation.
Bearberry Extract: An antioxidant-rich, natural skin lightener that brightens and evens skin tone.

How to Use

Apply 2–4 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and then massage into skin for one minute. Add water and massage to emulsify this hydrophilic formulation. Rinse with tepid water. *May also be used for eye makeup removal.
